Dr. Ashley Ryan
Dr. Ashley attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, achieving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Human Resources Management. She quickly realized she wanted to go back to her passion of helping people, leading her to discover the chiropractic profession and immediately start her career transition. The next step in Dr. Ashley’s journey was attending the renowned Palmer of College Chiropractic West in San Jose, CA. In her third year, she started seeing patients, managing cases and treating students as well as their families at the school clinic. She advanced to the outpatient clinic in three months, completing over 200 visits before beginning field training at an existing office. She completed her internship, graduated and stayed on at the practice for a time to assist the doctor in running the office.
When it came time to figure out where she wanted to practice she knew she planned to return to the Midwest, where she grew up, start a practice and utilize both her degrees. Ashley Ryan, DC and Zachary Ryan DC met while attending chiropractic college, moved to Illinois and now own practices in both Crystal Lake (A to Z Chiropractic) and Rockford (Redefine Wellness of Rockford).
Dr. Ashley Ryan is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP). She realized she wanted to go further than Chiropractic care and be able to provide an entire holistic approach to truly help a person heal from the inside.
Dr. Zach Ryan and Dr. Ashley Ryan have three kids together: Brantley, Leyton, and Blakely. Outside of their work life they enjoy being outside in the sunshine doing things such as camping, swimming, and listening to music.
